"This last album, Speak Now, was inspired by a lot of things that, um, happened in my life, but one thing that inspired a song was, um, we went on our first headlining tour a few years ago. And I used to stand there before I would go on stage and I’d listen to the crowd making the most amazing, magical, loud screaming sounds," *crowd screams* "that is exactly the sound I’m talking about. And I’d hear it, and first of all, I’d sit there and think I can’t believe I get to hear that sound one time in my life. And, um, and then I’d get a melody stuck in my head and I could never get this melody out of my head until I finally wrote it into a song. And I called that song Long Live.”
I swear out there ain’t where you ought to be, so catch a ride, catch a cab. Don’t you know I miss you bad? But don’t you walk to me. Baby run, cut a path across the blue skies. Straight in a straight line, you can’t get here fast enough. Find a truck and fire it up, lean on the gas and off the clutch. Leave Dallas in the dust. I need you in a rush. So baby run.
